Iwona Gotowecka-Janaillac

Née à Olsztyn (Pologne) en 1972, Iwona poursuit tout d’abord des études musicales à L’école de Musique du 1er et 2nd degré à Szczecinek, en Poméranie. Elle est diplômée en 1991, au bout d’un cursus de 12 années, et obtient le titre de « Musicien Instrumentaliste ».

Elle poursuit ensuite des études supérieures à L’Académie de Musique Feliks Nowowiejski de Bydgoszcz (Poméranie) en faculté d’instruments, spécialisation violon. Elle obtient son diplôme et le titre de « Maître ès Arts » en 1996. Durant ses études elle fait également un cours pédagogique de 2 ans et collabore avec de nombreux orchestres : Orchestre de Chambre de Torun, Orchestre Symphonique d’Olsztyn, Orchestre Caméral « Capella Bydgostiensis » avec lequel elle participera à l’enregistrement des concertos pour violon de Mozart.

En 1996 Iwona intègre l’orchestre symphonique « Philharmonie de Poméranie » à Bydgoszcz où elle continuera de jouer jusqu’à son arrivée en France, en 2005, après avoir épousé un français. Cette expérience orchestrale l’emmènera dans de nombreuses tournées en Europe et en Corée du Sud.

Entre 1996 à 2002, parallèlement à sa profession de violoniste, elle s’exerce comme professeur de violon à l’Ecole de Musique du 1er et 2nd degré à Bydgoszcz.

Aujourd’hui Iwona joue dans un quatuor à cordes avec Daniel Rémy, Nigel Keay & Dimitri Kindynis. Elle a participé également à l’Orchestre 2021 créé en 2006 à Paris.

Iwona Gotowecka-Janaillac

Born in Olsztyn, Poland in 1972, Iwona began studying the violin at the 1st & 2nd Level Music School in Szczecinek, Pomerania. She obtained her Diploma in 1991 giving her the title "Instrumental Musician" at the end of a twelve year study programme.

Iwona then began advanced music studies in the Instrumental Department of the Feliks Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, Pomerania specialising in violin. She obtained her Diploma and the title of "Master of Arts" in 1996. During her studies she undertook a two-year course in pedagogy. She also played for a number of orchestras; the Torun Chamber Orchestra, the Olsztyn Symphony Orchestra, and the Capella Bydgostiensis Chamber Orchestra with which she participated in the recording of Mozart Violin Concerti.

In 1996, Iwona became a fulltime member of the Pomeranian Philharmonia Orchestra in Bydgoszcz where she continued to play up until 2005, when she married and moved to France. While a member of the Philharmonia she toured extensively, notably around Europe and to South Korea.

Between 1996 and 2002, parallel to her profession as an orchestral violinist, she taught violin at the 1st & 2nd Level Music School in Bydgoszcz.

Today Iwona played in the Orchestre 2021 String Quartet with Daniel Rémy, Nigel Keay & Dimitri Kindynis. Iwona also played in Orchestre 2021 directed by Elizabeth Askren in Paris in 2006 & 2007.
